Donna:
Thank you so much for your interest and willingness to volunteer. Currently we have a team on the ground assessing the requirements for our expertise. The program development and implementation stages will come after that. We will be sure to keep your pledge for support in mind and get back to you as required at that time. Keep reading and we look forward to hearing from you again.

I am an obstrician-gynecologist with 33 years of experience. I would like to volunteer myself for relief efforts in Haiti.I am on the faculty of a teaching hospital in Brooklyn, and have many Haitian patients here. I can provide obstetrical/gynecological care in Haiti, or can help in educating health care workers in preantal care and delivery. I may also be able to bring one of my residents with me. When do you think you would need me to come?

“To reach people use people.” I like the work Jhpiego does especially on maternal and child health alongside HIV/AIDs.
The partnering in service delivery is a great idea, keep it up.

I would like to volunteer myself for relief in Haiti. My time is flexible and I have experience with forceps. Please let me know how to be included.
